Eden Farm Double Loadhouse
An insulated angled double loadhouse for Eden Farm Hulleys, with sectional doors and DS3000 shelters for chilled and frozen distribution.
For Eden Farm Hulleys in Sheffield, an angled double loadhouse provides a sheltered loading area for chilled, frozen and ice cream distribution. The structure seals back to the existing warehouse to help maintain temperature control. The steel frame has 100 mm insulated composite wall and roof panels. Two sectional doors serve 3,500 mm × 4,000 mm clear openings, alongside DS3000 retractable shelters measuring 3,500 mm wide × 4,500 mm high, with a 600 mm projection.

Butlers Farmhouse Cheese Loadhouses
Three angled loadhouses for Butlers Farmhouse Cheese, combining dock levellers, insulated sectional doors and inflatable shelters.
Three freestanding loadhouses at Butlers Farmhouse Cheese were set at 65 degrees to suit vehicle movements around the existing building while preserving internal working space. Each combines an electro-hydraulic dock leveller, insulated sectional door, inflatable shelter and safety equipment. Designed for a 1,200 mm dock height, the structures measure approximately 3,500 mm wide × 4,800 mm high, with a 2,500 mm projection. Dock Solutions handled design, manufacture and installation.

Grosvenor Shopping Centre - Service Yard
A 6,000 kg freestanding swing lip leveller with side tables, handrails, bumpers and hydraulic controls for Grosvenor Shopping Centre’s service yard.

Tescos Cheetham Hill Mega Store
A double-deck loading installation at Tesco’s Cheetham Hill store, delivered with Loading Bay Lifts to suit a constrained urban site.
Working with Loading Bay Lifts, we equipped a double-deck loadhouse at Tesco’s Cheetham Hill store in Manchester, where space is limited and deliveries are frequent. The installation combines an electro-hydraulic hinge lip leveller, DS3000 retractable shelter, dock bumpers, external traffic lights, a composite control panel and emergency strip lighting. Loading Bay Lifts supplied the scissor lift loadhouse platform, with the dock equipment integrated to support loading at different vehicle deck levels.

Tescos Lichfield Distribution Centre
Two double-deck loadhouses for Tesco’s Lichfield distribution centre, combining levellers, seals, retractable shelters, lighting and controls.
Two double-deck loadhouses at Tesco’s Lichfield distribution centre support loading across multiple vehicle deck levels. Dock Solutions installed hinge lip levellers, dock seals, DS3000 retractable shelters, bumpers, strip lighting and composite control panels. The equipment brings loading, weather protection and controls together for the site’s busy distribution operation.

Encirc Beverages
A 26-bay shelter upgrade at Encirc’s Bristol facility, using DS4000 inflatable shelters to improve weather sealing and thermal performance.
Encirc’s Bristol glass manufacturing facility received 26 DS4000 inflatable dock shelters as part of a loading bay upgrade. Configured for the site, each shelter combines insulated roof and side panels, inflatable head and side bags, and zinc-plated support brackets. The installation improves sealing around docked vehicles, helping limit weather ingress and heat loss during loading.

Tescos Rainham Dock Replacement
Replacement of an ageing freestanding leveller with a UK-built swing lip unit, adjustable support legs and integrated handrails at Tesco’s Rainham site.
An ageing freestanding swing lip leveller at Tesco’s Rainham site was removed and replaced with a UK-built unit designed to fit the existing dock. The replacement combines a heavy-duty steel frame, adjustable support legs and integrated handrails. Designed and installed by Dock Solutions, the leveller meets BS EN 1398 and provides a dependable link between the dock and vehicle.

Speedpac Loadhouse
A two-bay loadhouse extension for Speedpac, with levellers, shelters, roller shutter doors, a Durbar floor and new access stairs.
A new loadhouse extension at Speedpac in Wellingborough created two loading bays connected to the existing building. Each bay combines a dock leveller, shelter and roller shutter door. The works included forming a new opening, installing a heavy-duty Durbar plate floor, and adding a personnel exit door and access staircase. Omega supplied the structural steel frame. The extension was finished with 100 mm Kingspan insulated cladding in Goosewing Grey to complement the existing building.

Sandfield Farms - Fast Action Doors
Eleven self-repairing fast-action doors, each on a bespoke steel frame, for Sandfield Farms’ temperature-controlled food production facility.
Sandfield Farms’ food production facility in Upper Moor needed fast-action doors without placing loads on the existing insulated wall panels. The solution was 11 Ferroflex self-repairing doors, each supported by a bespoke freestanding steel frame with a black powder-coated finish. The 3 m × 3 m doors feature heavy-duty PVC curtains, vision panels, three-phase power and TS970 controls. Photocells and safety edges provide additional protection during operation.

Premier Foods
A loading bay refurbishment in Stoke, combining mezzanine platforms, telescopic levellers, inflatable shelters, roller shutter doors and safety equipment.
At Premier Foods in Stoke, ageing external pods and fast-action doors were replaced as part of a complete loading bay refurbishment. New mezzanine flooring with an anti-slip finish, perimeter handrails, pallet gates and access stairs formed the internal loading area. Each bay received a telescopic leveller, DS4000 inflatable shelter, dock bumpers, wheel guides and traffic lights. Roller shutter doors were fitted within purpose-built steel frames, with composite control panels bringing the equipment controls together. Insulated cladding and colour-matched trims completed the exterior.
